Program Highlights
San Joaquin Valley College’s Maintenance Technician (M-Tech) program is designed to provide fundamental, hands-on training on industrial systems and equipment. Students will study and master the basic principles, applications, concepts and functions of hydraulic systems, bearing and seal types, and power transmission components.
The Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program prepares students to test for an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). SJVC prepares students to take appropriate certification and licensure exams related to their individual majors. The College does not guarantee students will successfully pass these exams or be certified or licensed as a result of completing the program.
The Aviation Maintenance Technology program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration
