Our programs are taught in a hybrid learning format, where you will have a combination of online classes, along with in person, hands-on training in our labs two days a week on campus. This hybrid format allows students to balance their career education training around their work, home, and family life.
We offer daily support and guidance from our faculty and staff, along with tutoring options when extra help is needed. Our dedicated career services team helps you with resume development, interview skills, and job placement assistance with local employers. We also have dedicated financial aid representatives who will meet with you one-on one-to help you explore your payment options.

Available Program

A rewarding and challenging automotive career can be yours with training from UEI. Get the knowledge and skills you need to excel in an automotive career. Our program is taught in a hybrid learning format, where you will have a combination of online classes, along with in-person, hands-on training in our on-campus labs two days a week. This hybrid format allows students to balance their career education training around their work, home, and family life.
The program introduces students to basic and advanced automotive technology including engine theory, fuel systems, fuel injection theory, electrical diagnosis, ignition systems, carburetor repair, tune-up and onboard computerized engine control. The program also provides instruction in brakes, heating and air-conditioning, manual and automatic transmissions, and front-end alignment. Particular emphasis is placed on hybrid drive systems and emerging auto technologies. Students will gain professional skills such as understanding instructions,
communicating effectively, and completion of basic automotive diagnostic, repair and safety procedures.
