Automotive and Hi-Performance Technology

If you have a passion for muscle cars, race cars, and the equipment that allows them to surge from 0 to 60 MPH in mere seconds, Automotive Training Center’s Automotive and Hi-Performance Technology program may be for you.

The Automotive and Hi-Performance program at ATC is an engaging study of all aspects of the automobile and includes three separate courses dedicated to automotive engines. Over the course of an AHP education, you’ll develop your knowledge of engine principles and be led through the theoretical understanding of maximizing an engine’s performance by engineering its parts to extremely finite tolerances.

Guided by ASE-certified instructors on real industry equipment, AHP students have the chance to perform multiple test runs on an engine and/or chassis dynamometer to chart their understanding, progress, and ultimate success with Hi-Performance engines.

Automotive and Diesel Technology

Thinking big often leads to a successful future. That’s why if you find yourself intrigued by heavy-duty engines and complex fuel systems, Automotive Training Center’s Diesel mechanic school is definitely for you.

Manufacturers and dealers nationwide are constantly looking for reliable technicians with in-depth automotive diesel training and experience. ATC’s Diesel mechanic school provides you with these valuable assets and focuses on creating tomorrow’s diesel experts today.

Not only will you learn about engines, but you’ll also gain practice on electrical systems, brakes, and suspension and steering systems. Whether you are speaking to another technician, talking to a service writer, or a diesel equipment owner, it’s important to explain things in an easy-to-understand manner. We seek to develop diesel technician skills but also your communication skills as both are crucial to your success.

Collision Reconditioning Technology

With more vehicles on the road than ever before, the demand for talented collision repair technicians is higher than it’s ever been. ATC Collision Reconditioning Technology students will learn first-hand from ASE and I-CAR certified instructors and have numerous opportunities to be involved with actual repairs on live vehicles in our modern shop facilities at our auto body repair school.

As a collision repair technician, you will develop the skills needed to become a master metal worker, welder, painter, and overall vehicle specialist. Whether repairing a vehicle after it’s been damaged in an accident or bringing it back to life with a fresh paint job, collision repair technicians must have strong attention to detail and an interest in autobody work.

In addition, you’ll learn about the many supportive systems and sub-systems found in the industry today, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and heating, and fiberglass and gelcoat repair.

Your education at ATC will focus on real-world applications. That means you’ll have the opportunity to perfect your craft by working on some of the top technology in the industry.
