Financial aid is available to those that qualify.
Automotive Service Technicians use their mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting skills to inspect, maintain, and repair cars and light trucks. They work on engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, belts, and hoses, and other mechanical components, as well as the electronic systems that control brakes, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle systems.
Autobody Technicians use special tools and equipment to repair damaged vehicles and make them look like new. The work may be minor, such as replacing a cracked windshield, or major, such as replacing an entire door panel. In some cases, one technician may handle an entire job, but large repair shops may take a team approach, with each technician specializing in one area.
